Comet Skateboards has teamed up with the Pepsi Refresh Project in an effort to “create a cultural program through skateboarding/art/mentorship.” Comet Skateboards is in competition with over 100 other ideas in the $50,000 category for funding.
How it works: Companies submit their ideas to Pepsi and people can vote on approved ideas beginning Feb. 1. The top ten voted-on ideas will receive funding to make their ideas come alive.
According to Comet Skateboards’ idea page, they want to create safe haven for youth to skateboard and express themselves, create mentorship opportunities, the opportunity to travel, and more.
Comet Skateboards is currently ranked 85th. You can vote for them once a day on their idea page until Feb. 28 through registering with Pepsi or posting it to your Facebook news feed. You can vote on up to 10 ideas daily.
